About Us

With over 30 years of mapping experience, Map House is Nepal’s only registered mapping company dedicated to promoting Himalayan tourism. We produce and sell high-quality maps, books, calendars, posters, postcards, playing cards, and other travel-related products. Our head office and main sales outlet are located in Thamel, Kathmandu, with a strong distribution network across Nepal, India, Europe, America, and Australia.

Map House has proudly collaborated with Trails Illustrated and National Geographic on Nepal’s Adventure Series maps, including Everest Base Camp, Khumbu, Annapurna, and Langtang. We were also among the first in Nepal to move from traditional hand-drawn maps to digital cartography, working with organizations such as UNDP, NTB, TAAN, ILO, GIZ, and others.

We are the first mapping company to publish the Great Himalaya Trail map series. Our skilled and motivated team uses advanced GIS and design software to create accurate, reliable, and user-friendly maps for trekkers, climbers, and travelers.
