Lower Mundum Trail
Retracing where the ancestors first ascended from the plains to the hills.
Day 01 Kathmandu – Biratnagar – Koshipul (Starting from 80m elevation).
Day 02–06 Koshipul – Khuwalung – Chakhewa (5 days trekking through the lower Kirat belt; wildlife observation in Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, Khuwalung, Hatuwagadhi, Tham dada, Temke dada ).
Day 07 Chakhewa (Rest & Acclimatization).
Mundum Trail
Immersing in the oral traditions, ancient settlements, and the living Mundum culture.
Day 08–12 Chakhewa – Chheskam (5 days trekking through traditional Kirat villages, Maiyung dada , Salpa pokhari, Silichung ).
Day 13 Chheskam (Rest Day – Exploring the heart of Kulung/Kirat civilization).
Upper Mundum Hunga Valley Everest Trail
Navigating the rugged path discovered by ancestors across high-altitude landscapes.
Day 14 Chheskam – Muddikharka.
Day 15 Muddikharka – waikho (Forest of Oaks and Walnuts; crossing the Magan Khola).
Day 16–17 waikho – Watelma Valley (Including Rest Day; explore Lungtumma & Hungyo River).
Day 18 Watelma – Khaprokha (Visit Juktus Stone & Jukuwa Rock Shelters).
Day 19–20 Khaprokha – Khoma Dingma Valley (4,780m) (Rest Day; views of Hoplung/Chamlang & Mera Peak).
